Overview
This is a route through some of the most beloved and iconic places in Armenia, chosen for decades for their nature, climate, and diverse landscapes.
Ride above the scenic slopes on the Tsaghkadzor cable car — breathtaking views and fresh mountain air give a feeling of freedom.
Here is also Kecharis Monastery (11th–13th centuries), a medieval complex located right in the town and naturally integrated into the mountain landscape.
Next, the route leads to Lake Sevan — one of the largest high-altitude freshwater lakes in the world and the main lake of Armenia, located at almost 2,000 meters above sea level. Its waters constantly change color depending on light and weather.
At Sevan, we visit Sevanavank Monastery, located on a peninsula hilltop. The climb of 120 steps leads to a historic monastic site that once served as a place of isolation and spiritual retreat.
From the top opens a panoramic view of Lake Sevan — one of the most iconic photo spots in Armenia.
Then we continue to Dilijan — a completely different side of Armenia, known for its forests, mountains, and humid air.
We walk along the old town street with artisan workshops, where traditional crafts are still alive: ceramics, wood carving, and jewelry making.
