Overview

This 2-day expedition takes you to the wild south of Armenia where roads end and adventure begins. The route penetrates the Syunik highlands through hidden gorges, scenic viewpoints, and old Armenian villages that few tourists ever see.

Mount Khustup (2,980 m) is considered a "mountain of power" in Armenian tradition. A light hike to its summit rewards with sweeping views across southern Armenia. As evening falls, the group camps with a campfire dinner under skies undimmed by city light.

Day 2 features an alternative return route with panoramic views across the Syunik plateau before returning to Yerevan.
